Tremont Junior High School became Tremont Middle School in the fall of 2008 when the building expansion was completed and we welcomed the 5th grade to the Middle School.
Developmentally, we knew once the 5th grade was relocated that calling ourselves a "junior" high school would not properly indicate what we offer our students. Today, we focus on four core areas in all of our programs--academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational structure and support.

Congratulations to our April Students of the Month! For the month of April, we chose to recognize students who demonstrate good character by displaying "Tolerance." Students voted for a peer in each grade level who listens to the opinions of others even if they don't agree, appreciates the differences in others, stands up for people who are being picked on, and refrains from forming opinions about others based on how they dress, color of skin, or how they appear.
Congratulations to the following March Students of the Month for demonstrating "Tolerance": 5th: Leah, 6th: Sean, 7th: Lauren, 8th: Rebekah
